Our Churchfields building, is open from 7.15am until 6pm, Monday to Friday.
In October 2020 we opened another purpose built Creche in Churchfields, Ashbourne. Here we are open all year round apart from the Christmas period.
We are closed on December 24th and reopen on January 2nd each year. We are also closed on bank holidays & Good Friday.
We offer full day care for children aged from 2.5 to 5 years old. We include ECCE Montessori tuition for all our pre-school children attending our full day care service.
Genius Gems, Super Stars: Our ECCE 3 hour session is incorporated into our full time children’s day: 7.15am to 6pm.
Our ‘It’s our World’ full daycare and sessional (3 hour) programme for our pre-schoolers who are aged 2 and a half /three years and upwards incorporates a play based and Montessori curriculum with a wide range of subjects such as language, maths, practical life, sensorial learning and culture.
We balance this programme with activities such as music & movement, dress-up, story time, arts & crafts, cooking, and much more.
We also offer sessional Montessori Pre-School classes (Free 3 hour ECCE only) from September until June each year. We follow 2 local school’s calendar for our classes. There are three 3 hour ECCE sessions each day:
There is an option for “Extended Afternoons”, where your child can stay and play for 1 extra hour before or after class. This extra time may be subsidised by the NCS scheme. Check www.ncs.gov.ie to see if you are eligible for discounts off your fees.
Session time: 09.30 until 13.30
Children aged 3 years onwards who have a diagnosis of Autism, and are eligible for the home tuition grant, can apply directly to us for a place.
What can we offer your child:
Our ‘After-School Club’ for school aged children provides a relaxed environment, within which to wind down after their day in school.
We provide a collection service to and from St. Declans School, Educate Together and Gaelscoil na Mi. Our Breakfast Club opens at 7:15am until we drop the children to school. Children either walk to/from school, or may travel in our minibus. Children are collected at their finish time from school and can stay up until 6pm closing time.
Our children enjoy a home cooked meal, have supervised homework time, and also take part in our busy after-school programme which includes a huge variety of sports, fun based class activities and games, arts & crafts, cooking, gardening, and plenty of outdoor play.
We offer full day childcare, when your child has a day off school, half days and on school breaks, ie mid-term, Easter, Christmas and Summer holidays.
Our After-School club in Churchfields is for children from Junior Infants to First Class. After this they move to our older group in ETNS School.
